Connectivity, in a plain-text format KiCad's netlist import understands: each net and the component pins on it. It does not include footprints, schematic symbols, or any board layout, so it is a way to avoid re-typing every connection when you move to real PCB work, not a finished KiCad project. You still assign footprints on the KiCad side.

The board and component artwork comes from the Fritzing parts library (CC BY-SA 3.0) and from Wikimedia contributors (the Raspberry Pi 5 and Pico artwork by Efa, CC BY-SA 4.0). Those licences require attribution wherever the artwork travels, so every image and PDF export carries a short credit line naming the source and licence. Please leave it in place. It is separate from the free-tier footer, which Pro removes. Pin list and netlist exports contain no artwork and no credit line.

No. It is a planning and documentation tool, not a simulator. Nothing on the canvas is electrically live: there is no continuity check, no short detection, no logic evaluation, no voltage or current validation. A diagram can look perfect in the app and still describe a circuit that damages your hardware. Review your own design, and if you are dealing with mains voltage, high current or lithium cells, ask someone qualified.

A Public project becomes readable by anyone using the app: title, description, tags, cover image, the full diagram, and the handle and display name of your account. Unlisted means it is readable only by someone holding the link, and it never appears in the feed or in search. Private means only you. Every project starts Private, and you can change or delete it at any time.

A remix is their own private, editable copy of your public diagram. It carries a visible attribution back to your project and your handle, and your project's remix count goes up. They own what they change. Your original is untouched. If you would rather nobody remixed a diagram, keep it Unlisted or Private instead of Public.

Open the project and use the report action to flag it as spam, inappropriate, or a copyright issue. Reports go to a queue a person reviews. You can also block an account, which removes their projects from your feed and search. Your block list is private to you.

Projects are written to your device first, so the editor works without a connection and your diagrams are yours locally. An account is what makes cloud backup, syncing to a second device, publishing and the community feed possible, and you sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password.

The whole tool is free: every board, every export format, and unlimited public projects. Pro lifts the cap on private and unlisted projects, removes the footer from image and PDF exports, and keeps your custom components in a library shared across all your projects. It is an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store; manage or cancel it from your App Store account settings, and refunds go through Apple.

Yes. Build the board you actually have as a custom component with the exact pins it exposes, and use that instead of the stock part. If a stock pinout looks wrong to you, email me the board and what differs and I will check it.

Settings, then Delete account. That removes your projects and their cover images, your profile and profile picture, your handle (freeing it for someone else), your follows and blocks, the likes you left elsewhere, and your sign-in record. It is irreversible. Two things survive on purpose: moderation reports you filed, so the queue stays reviewable, and any remix someone else made of a project you had published, which is their own project.
