Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Teshape ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please don't use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use Teshape. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. What Teshape Is

Teshape is a fitness coaching and training app for iOS and Android. It matches trainees with coaches, lets coaches build training and nutrition plans, and lets trainees log workouts and track progress. With your permission, Teshape syncs workout data with Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). Your account and training data are stored in Teshape's backend (Firebase).

4. Not Medical Advice

Teshape provides general fitness and nutrition guidance, including plans created by coaches on the platform. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician, physiotherapist, registered dietitian, or other healthcare professional. Exercise carries inherent risk. Consult a doctor before starting any training or nutrition program, especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, or are pregnant. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or other warning signs. You train at your own risk.

5. Coaches & Coaching Relationships

Coaches on Teshape are independent and responsible for the plans and guidance they provide. Teshape is a tool that connects coaches and trainees and hosts their plans, messages, and logs; it does not employ coaches, supervise their programming, or guarantee any particular result. Any arrangement between a coach and a trainee is between those two people. We are not a party to it and are not liable for it.

6. Your Account

You sign in with Apple or Google and are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings.

Where you grant permission, Teshape reads from and writes to Apple Health or Health Connect to provide its training features. You control this access from your phone's health settings and can revoke it at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Subscriptions & Billing

Teshape may offer auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. Where a subscription applies, payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, the subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings. Prices may vary by region, and refunds are handled by the respective app store under their policies. Coaching arrangements, where a coach charges separately, are between you and the coach.

10. Intellectual Property

The App's code, design, copy, and brand are the property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use. Content you create (logs, notes, progress photos) remains yours.

Your use of these services is governed by their own terms.

12. Privacy

Your use of Teshape is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, particular fitness results, or the conduct of any coach or trainee.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teshape and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including injury, loss of data, or decisions made based on plans or guidance in the App.

15. Modifications

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You can terminate at any time by deleting your account.
