Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Mocki ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
3. Description of Service
Mocki is a mobile application that places a screenshot you provide inside device artwork, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac, lets you choose a background and layout, and exports the result as an image sized for the App Store or social media. The App runs on your device and works fully without an account; you may optionally sign in to back up and sync your projects across your devices.
4. How the App Works
You import a screenshot from your photo library, arrange it inside a device frame, and export the finished image back to your photo library or the iOS share sheet. All rendering happens on your device, and your full-resolution screenshots are never uploaded to any server.
5. Accounts & Sync
Signing in is optional. If you choose to sign in with email, Apple, or Google, Mocki stores a copy of your projects in your private, account-scoped space in Google Firebase so they sync across your devices and survive a reinstall. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You can sign out at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and all of its cloud data from Settings → Delete account. 6. Free Tier & Mocki Pro
Mocki is free to use with a limited set of devices and backgrounds, and exports carry a small "Made with Mocki" watermark. Mocki Pro ("Pro") unlocks the full device library, the full background library, and removes the watermark.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
Pro is offered in three plans through the Apple App Store:
- Monthly: an auto-renewing monthly subscription
- Yearly: an auto-renewing annual subscription
- Lifetime: a one-time, non-recurring purchase
Current prices are shown in the App at the point of purchase and are set per region by the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- The Monthly and Yearly plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The Lifetime plan does not renew.
- Payment is processed through the Apple App Store and is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, subject to the store's terms.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your device's subscription settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to Pro until then.
- Refund policies are governed by the Apple App Store.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
- Use the App to create misleading App Store screenshots that misrepresent another app
9. Your Content
You retain all rights to the screenshots and images you import into Mocki and to the mockups you create with them. Mocki claims no ownership over your content. If you sign in, a copy of your projects (layout data and small preview thumbnails, not your full-resolution screenshots) is stored in your private cloud space solely to sync it back to your own devices; we make no other use of it.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, device artwork, and content, is the property of the developer and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business purposes. Device artwork is used under license from Apple's Design Resources; Apple, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc.
11. Data & Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Mocki works fully without an account and, signed out, keeps your screenshots, mockups, and project state on your device. If you optionally sign in, your projects are backed up to your private space in Google Firebase to sync across your devices. RevenueCat is used solely to validate Mocki Pro purchases.
12. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:
- Google Firebase — optional account sign-in and cloud backup/sync of your projects
- Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In — optional authentication providers
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
- Apple App Store — distribution and payment processing
We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or security of third-party services.
13. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported mockups will be accepted by every platform's screenshot requirements; you are responsible for confirming current App Store Connect specifications.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mocki and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or business interruptions.
15. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms within the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
16. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time, and you can delete your account and its cloud data from Settings → Delete account. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
