How do I send an invoice?
Open Invoices, tap + New Invoice, pick a client, add line items, pick a template, then tap Send. The iOS share sheet opens so you can pick Mail, Messages, or any other app you have installed.
What's the free tier?
Three invoices and three estimates a month, up to three clients, the Clean template, and one organization. Sent PDFs include a small "Made with Mintly" footer line. Pro removes the footer and unlocks unlimited invoices and estimates, unlimited clients, all eight templates, full reports, multiple organizations, and customization.
Why is my invoice number not appearing on the draft?
Invoice numbers are assigned at Send time, not at draft creation. This keeps numbering sequential and gap-free in your audit trail. Drafts show DRAFT until you send.
Can I edit an invoice after sending it?
Sent invoices are mostly locked to keep your audit trail clean. You can record payments and cancel a sent invoice (which marks it cancelled but keeps it in history). To revise a sent invoice, the recommended path is to cancel it and create a new one.
I'm hitting the free limit. How do I upgrade?
Open Settings → Subscription → Upgrade to Pro. You can pick weekly, monthly, or yearly (save 50% vs monthly).
How do I cancel my subscription?
All subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Mintly. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
I bought Pro but the app still shows the free banner.
Open Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. If the issue persists, force-quit and reopen the app. If still broken, email support with your Apple ID email and we will investigate.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Email support@moetalaat.com and we will send you a copy of your data (business profile, clients, invoices, and estimates) within 30 days. A self-serve export tool inside the app is coming later. You can also save a PDF of any sent invoice directly from the app at any time.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. You type your account email to confirm, then tap Delete. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account and all your data are erased right away. Request a copy of your data first if you want one.
Is Mintly compliant with VAT, GST, or other e-invoicing mandates?
Mintly produces general-purpose PDF invoices. It is NOT designed for government B2B e-invoicing mandates (Italy SDI, ZATCA, Peppol, etc.). You are responsible for ensuring the invoices you generate meet your local legal and tax requirements.
Why no Android / web / iPad?
Mintly is iOS-only for the first release. iPad, Android, and web are future considerations, not v1 commitments.
