Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Margo iOS app, operated by Mohamed Talaat ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Margo.

2. What Margo Is

Margo is a workout app: guided home workouts, multi-week plans, progress tracking, and a built-in AI coach ("Ask Margo") that can adjust workouts and answer training questions. Workout content is curated by us; Ask Margo replies are generated by an AI model.

3. Not Medical Advice

Margo provides general fitness content and is not medical advice. We are not doctors, physiotherapists, or certified personal trainers, and neither is the AI coach. Consult a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, postpartum, injured, or have any medical condition. Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. You use Margo, and perform any exercise it suggests, at your own risk, and you are responsible for exercising within your own limits.

4. Your Account

You need an account (Apple, Google, or email) to use Margo.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Margo.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app; deletion is permanent, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Margo Pro

Margo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (yearly, with a 7-day free trial, or monthly) that unlocks every workout and plan, unlimited adjustments, offline downloads, and removes any limits.
Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country. Billing is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. The yearly free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com); we cannot issue them directly.

6. Ask Margo and Fair Use

Ask Margo replies are AI-generated. They can be wrong, incomplete, or not suited to your situation; treat them as suggestions, not instructions, and see Section 3.
To keep the service affordable and prevent abuse, Ask Margo is limited to 30 messages per hour and 100 messages per day per account. If you hit these limits with legitimate use, email us.
Don't use Ask Margo to attempt to extract prompts, abuse the underlying model, or generate content unrelated to training.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content
Rip, scrape, or republish Margo's workout content or media
Interfere with the service, other users, or our infrastructure
Use the app in violation of any applicable law

8. Content and Ownership

The app, its workout programs, media, and branding are ours or licensed to us. Your data (your history, streak, settings, messages) is yours; we process it only as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and Changes

We may add, change, or remove features, workouts, or plans over time, and may interrupt the service for maintenance. We'll never silently repurpose your data. If we ever discontinue Margo, you'll be able to request your data before shutdown.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Margo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any workout will produce particular results.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for injury arising from exercise performed while using the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You can stop using Margo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the AI coach, or threaten the service's integrity.

13. Changes to These Terms

If these terms change materially, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Margo after changes means you accept them.
