Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Clink ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please don't use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use Clink. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. What Clink Is

Clink is an iOS boxing interval timer. It provides configurable round, rest, and warmup timing with authentic boxing bell sounds, structured drill programs, landscape display mode, and session history with analytics. All timer functionality runs locally on your device. An account is optional and only required for cloud sync of your saved presets, custom drills, and session history across devices.

4. Your Account

You may sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password. An account is not required to use the timer. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You can delete your account at any time from the Menu tab.

5. Clink Pro & Free Tier

Clink offers an in-app purchase called Clink Pro, available as three plans through the Apple App Store:

Free tier. Without purchasing Pro, you have access to the full timer with all round, rest, and warmup configuration options, basic bell sounds, up to 3 saved presets, and the last 10 sessions in your history.

Clink Pro unlocks (any plan):

Auto-renewing subscriptions (Yearly, Monthly).Prices are shown in the app before purchase and charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or from Clink's Menu tab, which opens the same subscription management screen. No refund is given for the unused portion of a period if you cancel mid-cycle; Pro access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

Lifetime purchase.The Lifetime plan is not a subscription and does not renew or expire. It is billed once through Apple's standard in-app purchase flow.

Billing is handled entirely by Apple under their standard in-app purchase and subscription terms. Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy. Prices may change for new purchasers, but an existing Lifetime purchase is honored at the price paid and grants all future Pro features permanently. Switching between plans (for example, subscribing after already owning Lifetime, or vice versa) is managed through your Apple ID subscription settings and RevenueCat's standard entitlement rules.

Any custom presets and custom drills you create in Clink are yours. We claim no ownership over the names, configurations, or structures you define. Session history data you generate belongs to you and is deleted on request or when you delete your account.

8. Intellectual Property

The App's code, design, copy, brand, bundled bell sounds, and bundled pose illustrations are the property of the developer and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use.

The App relies on the following third-party services:

Your use of these services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or behavior of these third parties beyond our control.

10. Privacy

Your use of Clink is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how it is stored and deleted.

11. Data Deletion

You can delete individual presets, custom drills, or sessions at any time within the App. You can delete your entire account from the Menu tab, which removes all Firestore data (presets, drills, session history) and your Firebase Auth record. This is irreversible.

12. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don't guarantee that Clink will be uninterrupted or error-free. The timer targets within 50ms of real time but is not a certified timekeeping device — do not use it in officially sanctioned competition without verifying accuracy on your specific hardware.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clink and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of session data, missed timings, or service interruptions.

14. Modifications

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you purchased the Lifetime plan, the price you paid and the perpetual Pro entitlement it grants are honored regardless of future pricing or Terms changes. Yearly and Monthly subscriptions continue to renew at their then-current price under Apple's standard subscription terms unless you cancel.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You can terminate at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the App.
